The Simpler Life

We are eyeing empty nest as our only child heads off to college😢. My parents, 90 and 80, are finally consolidating their homes and moving closer to me. Patrick and I are purging all the meaningless crap we’ve accumulated #mariekondo and trying a new healthy recipe every night (we take turns and compete.) Maybe it took a life changing pandemic, or a world awakening of #blm or even the dust storm from the #saharadesert but I have found that it is quite alright to go back to a simple life.
